MISS U ON BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Hey! Today I am here to post a handful of them...... As I sat looking at the challenges, I decided on these simple ones...spontaneously...... I knew I wanted those sketches & the colors...... for myself.... Hence I went ahead with them..... And later after I was done with these simple ones... which are my quickest too.... I made them in just 10 minutes...... Yes! after which I sat to work on my distressed project without any DPs...... Me & my hubby were both happy with the results... SO here they are..... ALL of them...... Ta! Dan!

And this is how I made.....

As I said earlier I made these cuties in 10 minutes.....
I had this Hobby Ideas stamp which was not inked..... So according to the inspiration challenge from StampTV, I decided to use orange & yellow respectively.....
I used a recycled paper on the orange card for the flower on which I adhered the button with a twine tied to it.......
I used my melon & yellow CS on the B'day card on which I adhered a hand cut cupcake..... I added silver glitters on the cake & adhered a halved thermocol ball.....
The sentiments on both the cards are hand written.....

I used a brown CS for the base, on which I layered a grey CS......
I again layered it with brown & grey CS, respectively....
I hand drew my image of a girl yearning for a chocolate on a belated birthday......
After I drew her & colored her with my water colors pencils, I distressed the sides with my brown ink pad......
I used a brown ribbon, across the grey layer......
I used those beads which were worn & fell off my 8 years old saree...... ;-) Thank God! I found them & could use them creatively too.....
I passed a piece of chocolate wrapper through the bead & spread the flaps out to seem like a chocolate.... & I adhered them all on to the layers.....
And the sentiments are all Hand Written.... Both in the Speech Bubble (Oops! My Bad!) & the tag below...... ( Belated Wishes On Your Birthday)......

Thank You All!!!! That is it for now.....

SINGLE LAYERED LOVE!!!!!

Hello! I am here again with another awesome challenge..... I say this awesome because, it was a challenge for sure..... We were challenged not to use layers on the card..... So our only playground was the base...... We could do anything on it..... Hence the only thing I tried were few stamps I had not dared to ink...... But as I sat, things went on cool for me.... I happened to get the required paraphernalia on time & did not have to beat my head around to find them...... SO I could finish this card in 15 minutes....... So I loved it....... My hubby loved the simplicity a lot......

So this is what I made.....

Layer of Love

I colored the flowers red, yellow & pink, with my water color pencils...... & the leaves green too....
And that is a Hand Written sentiment written with my silver glitter pen.... I hope it is visible....
'I love You'.....

Layer of Love

I still feel I have spaces to improvise on the CARD...... I will think of things to make it more interesting.... may be I would use my punches.... here & there.... ;-) That is it for now....

EARTHLY BIRTHDAY GIFT!!!!

Hello!!!!! Thanks for all the lovely comments u peeps shower on my work..... It helps me to improve every day..... It motivates me to try my hands on projects I have not tried so far...... And this is one such thing I attempted & really proud that I did..... It was new... It was a challenge for sure..... & with the guidance provided, I was sure to make it.....

After I complete my projects, I show them to Kuku in a very hush! hush! way..... I mean very carefully as a surprise, just to see the reaction to it.... & feel proud too..... So did I do with this too.... As I held it slowly in front of him... He looked surprised & just pulled me towards him & pecked on my cheek...... & said "Babu mein kitna talent bhara hua hain"..... And I just inflated like a balloon..... ;-) & just left feeling like a proud peacock...... Hmmm... may be peahen... Oh! whateva! Meaning I just blew up......

And I can say this is the CARD... that took all my time or rather most of it..... to be finally DONE..... It took almost an entire day..... to make it.... So this is it.....

WELL!!! WELL!!!! TIME FOR ATCs......... My first, of my LIFE......

I totally enjoyed every moment I indulged in them..... It was my first experience.... The very concept was new to me, as I had never heard of it till March 1st week..... So I was very curious regarding the pros & cons..... I had several questions haunting me from A to Z.... I called up the hostess of the month, who was Shalini, 'n' number of times...... She not only owns an awesome space called Craft Curry in the Blogosphere but has also made a place for herself.....

The very first thought that made me happy was to know INDIANS residing IN India...... who also indulged themselves in the Card Making Passion..... And that was a surprise to see such awesome talents & creativity..... And later the thought of interacting & getting to know them through this Card Exchange Programme ..... was like WOW!!!!! Sone Pe Suhaga!!!! as said in HINDI...... Which simply means Could not ask for More!!!!!

And these were my very first ATCs for the month of MARCH, with the theme ' Cute as a Button'......

MARCH ATC

MARCH ATC

And today morning by 11:00 am, I received my share of ATCs, which were spectacularly awesome...... Oh! I still can feel the moment I saw the Post Man, who came in to deliver my ATCs..... I went shouting to the door like a small girl eagerly waiting for some gift of hers via post...... And believe me, that was the first time I saw our POST MAN..... till then, it had been 3 years since we came here.... But I had not seen him even once.... forget knowing him..... But for sure, here on I will know him too..... I would love to talk to him next.....

This first creation belongs to Spardha from New Delhi..... Isn't that a cutie???? I loved the simplicity of this card.... As I say always.... Simple Yet Elegant...... :-) She owns a neat craft dedicated space of her own...... sweetly called as Get addicted to Craft! Oh! Sure, your visit to her space would surely get you motivated to create something & be addicted to it too......

MARCH ATC

And this second piece is from the hostess of the month, Shalini herself....... Oh! I loved the uniqueness in her creation.... I could not think of making something like that..... & she did.... Bravo!!!! Does it not persuade you too to indulge yourself in some of these flavors?????

MARCH ATC

I still remember when Shalini posted the March ATCs, I was like selecting the ones I wanted in exchange to mine.... At the end, the list surely included either one of the two creations per person or both..... And I was like, that is not possible..... Since me craving & feeling greedy to own all, would not come true, I just left it.... to be surprised by the ATCs I receive..... which I surely was..... I love them both.....

MARCH ATC

Thank You dearies, for making them all so tempting...... And Congrats to the winner of the March Goodies Bag.....

Let us all make this a 'PART OF OUR LIFE' event..... for ever......
Wishing all luck & wishes to one & all......
for the cool events of the following months....

That is it for now......

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!

But for this project, I took my time to think & ink.... But wanted to make it an entry to all those awesome challenges in the blogosphere..... Though I know for sure that it is impossible to incorporate all the awesome thoughts & ideas in one piece..... I try as far as possible..... Just to find the EXTENT.... I cut a speech bubble out of the pink CS I used for the base...... & wrote a sentiment to suit the CHARMS.....
